About Me
You know that drawer in your jewelry box? The one where you put all the pieces of
broken necklaces and bracelets (and the surviving member of your favorite
pair of earrings)?
Well, that's where it started. One evening, as I was adding to my little
horde, the thoughts of "I should really do something about all this stuff"
turned into "hey, if I put this bead and that doodad together, I'd have a
pretty nifty pair of earrings." The voices in my head all stood up and
shouted "Get to work, girl!"
So here I am, a small town girl from Cecilia, Kentucky, channeling my
creative impulses into beads and wire.
I studied Chemistry and English in college.
(Yes, I know...one side of my brain wants to meander
around being creative while the other side is screaming,
"We must proceed in an orderly fashion." Orderly creativity -
It gets very confusing.)
In the real world, I work setting a database for the Health and
Safety Department of the company that employs me.
It is really much more interesting than it sounds...and very orderly.
